Tattered Loyalties is Book 1 in the Carrie Ann Ryan's Talon Pack series which is a spin-off from her Redwood series. Gideon is Alpha in the Talon Pack whereas Brie is a submissive in the Redwood Pack. Brie caught a glimpse of Gideon at a young age which turned her off towards other men so she is very innocent. My heart broke at times for Brie. Wanting so hard to fit in and prove her place in the pack despite the odds.
